A partial vacuum is created in the cups when placed on the skin and suction is created by drawing the trigger of the suction gun, this draws up the underlying tissue resulting in a deep tissue massage. Best Practise:

Thoroughly clean area and remove body hair before applying vacuum cupping. Excess body hair may prevent adequate seal of the suction cup to the skin.

Cupping sets can be cleaned with hot water (NOT boiling water) and soap for personal use, or sterilized with Isopropyl alcohol.
